As you may be aware, I live in the Colorado Springs area and we’re having massive wildfires. It’s pretty scary — I’ve honestly never seen anything like it. My family is safe for the time being as our house is a good ten miles away from where it’s burning. My husband is a wildland certified firefighter for the City of Colorado Springs and he’s out there on the front lines.
Many homes and structures have already burned as I write this, and I have several friends who’ve had to evacuate their homes. I just couldn’t bring myself to come up with a blog post today. Everyone in this area appreciates your prayers and good thoughts. If you want to help, the Red Cross is the best place.
